The KNIGHTS 97 coaching staff are all licensed coaches. Besides coaching the KNIGHTS 97, all coaches play for Men's 35+ soccer teams. The dad's who are not on the coaching staff, do assist in practice and training sessions. Most all the dads on the KNIGHTS 97 play adult soccer.
Let's not forget the mom's! Several of the mom's assist in organizing events, gifts for the players, team parties, and many other projects.

Head Coach
David Natwick
|
David is a Northern California native and started playing soccer at a very young age. After David and his wife Asta had their second child, soccer was an interest again. Assisting in his son's U6 & U8 soccer team, David became head coach for SASC U8 Boys Division IV team. First season, the Knights 97 were undefeated with 10-0 record out of 23 teams. David also plays goalie for the SASC 35+ adult soccer team.
David holds a CYSA National License, USSF Referee License, NSCAA Regional and State License in Goalkeeping, and is PCA Double Goal Coach Level 1 & 2 certified.
David sits on the Knights Executive Board.

Brent Natwick

Brent is also a Northern California native and started playing soccer at a young age. Playing for Coach David for several years, Brent moved on. Brent played for ODP (Olympic Development Program) then was accepted on the San Jose Earthquakes Academy, where he is presently playing for.
Brent holds a CYSA Coach license.

Roldan Fojas

Roldan was born in the Philippines. Then at an early age, his family moved to the states in 1971. Roldan has never played soccer until his son started playing soccer at U6. Then Roldan met Coach David and assisted the Knights 97 to the undefeated season. Roldan also plays on the SASC 35+ adult soccer team.
Roldan holds a CYSA license, USSF Referee License, and is PCA Double Goal Coach Level 1 & 2 certified.
Roldan sits on the Knights Executive Board.

Asta is in charge of team events, team parties, and many other team functions. Also, Asta is in charge of all paperwork for the Knight 97 related to District II. In addition to all this, Asta is the Knights team photographer and takes about 100 pictures per game.

Shilpa is in charge of working with the parents for volunteering, team parties, and point of contact for questions from the parents. Shilpa is also in charge of the Positive Coaching Alliance program for the Knights 97.
